First, we believe you really need to get a feel for what CrossFit Xystum is all about. We want you to feel comfortable with us and confident this is a place you will be able to obtain your fitness goals. Xystum (pronounced: ZIS-tuhm) is not your typical gym. You will quickly see we are not interested in just getting people in the door. We place utmost care and concern in helping you obtain your fitness and health goals. We work best with the people who have made a decision to give it all they’ve got. These are the people we seek, because these are the people who will accomplish their goals.
If you want to affect change, you need to change what you’ve been doing. CrossFit rose as an alternative to the prevailing commercial gym, machine-based, bodybuilding approach to fitness. Crunches, curls, leg extensions and thigh abductor machines can get you to a level of fitness, just not a very high level. Would you like to take it to the next level?
CrossFit focuses on performance. CrossFit trains to increase your work capacities in a well rounded and BALANCED approach to fitness. CrossFit workouts are constantly varied, using only functional compound movements. Using a mix of gymnastic type movements, free weights/weighted objects and metabolic conditioning intervals. The training environment is one that will motivate you to train at your thresh-hold of intensity, which will be continually expanding. This protocol will cause continual and limitless fitness improvements. Our coaches will teach and train you to move yourself and external objects in the most efficient, effective and safe manner possible.
The great thing about CrossFit is this program is designed for universal scalability. This is what makes it a perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience or physical condition. These routines have been used for all fitness levels.
If you truly want to change your fitness level, you have to change what you’ve been doing. If you have not done CrossFit before, no matter where you are on the fitness spectrum, you will experience extraordinary improvements in strength, flexibility, endurance, stamina, power, speed, accuracy, agility, balance and coordination.
